According to the Outside-in Model, most of Earth's water arrived after the Earth Formed, from meteorites or comets. This water would have mixed with the material in Earth's upper layers and also come to the surface through volcanic action. More supporting evidence comes from NASA's DAWN space craft launched in 2007, which found evidence of water on ceres and vesta, the two largest objects in the main asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter.

Explanation:

The outside-in model is best supported by the NASA's DAWN mission sent in 2007, which found the evidence of water on Ceres and Vesta, the largest asteroids in the asteroid belt. Also scientists have discovered opals in meteorites which need water to form, another indication that water came from space rocks. Comets are made up of ice, gas and dust which shows that may be it came from comets.

The macronutrients that we consume are broken down through digestion and then absorbed in order to ultimately. True or False
EastWind [94]

The question is incomplete as it is incomplete therefore a picture of the complete question has been attached.

Answer:

To be used by the cells for energy

Explanation:

The digestive process of humans digest or breakdown or oxidise the organic molecules present in the food to simple compounds which could be easily utilised by the human body.

The human body composed of tissue and cell requires energy to perform metabolic reactions in the form of ATP which are provided by the digestion of the complex food material.

The macronutrients present in the food thus are digested and absorbed by the cells to perform reactions which could provide energy therefore the selected option is the correct answer.

Answer:

What is true of natural selection? A. Natural selection is a random process. B. Natural selection creates beneficial mutations. C. The only way to eliminate harmful mutations is through natural selection. D. Mutations occur at random; natural selection can preserve and distribute beneficial mutations.

The answer is D

Explanation:

natural selection  can simply be explained as  individuals that have specific  inheritable traits will most likely tend to adapt and survive  and as well reproduce at higher rates than others. mutation  occurs when the nucleotide sequence of an organism  changes. so natural selection can preserve and distribute beneficial mutations.

Explanation:

In plant Carbon dioxide enters through Stomata and in stomata it diffuses over short distances through the intercellular process. it reaches the mesophyll cells. The other name of light independent phase is Calvin cycle whose name is in name of the person who discovered it. The light is not involved in this reaction so it is called light independent or dark cycle.
