Hey there!

During the French Revolution, Marie Antoinette was often referred to as Madame Déficit. This is because she was living such a lavish life that the bourgeoisie (middle class) and lower classes had to pay very high taxes that weren't even used to help support the country, which is why she earned this nickname.

I hope this helps!

“Madame Deficit” because of her lavish spending. Another nickname was “Madame Veto.” She acquired this nickname because the French were leery of her, because they blamed her for many of France's problems, and because they also thought she tricked Louis XVI into using his veto power. Hope this helps

What is importance of politics and politicians to the people living in cities in late 1900s?
Alchen [17]
Many intellectuals and many of those working in development believe that the size of the world's population and its accelerated growth is the greatest problem and the gravest threat to humanity. Clearly, the ratio of the number of people to the amount of food available has an impact on nutrition, but how do these two factors interact? At the end of the eighteenth century the British political economist Thomas Malthus speculated that population growth could soon surpass production and food supply. By the end of the twentieth century, this had not happened, but malnutrition was widespread.

Starting in the Middle East, which of these describes the direction in which Islam spread after the death of Muhammad?
Sliva [168]

Answer:

HerE is the answer!

Explanation:

Muhammad’s continuing success gradually impinged on the Quraysh in Mecca. Some defected and joined his community. His marriage to a Quraysh woman provided him with a useful go-between. In 628 he and his followers tried to make an Islamized hajj but were forestalled by the Meccans. At Al-Ḥudaybiyah, outside Mecca, Muhammad granted a 10-year truce on the condition that the Meccans would allow a Muslim pilgrimage the next year. Even at this point, however, Muhammad’s control over his followers had its limits; his more zealous followers agreed to the pact only after much persuasion. As in all instances of charismatic leadership, persisting loyalty was correlated with continuing success.

denpristay [2]

Answer:

Option A: According to John Green, the union Knights of Labor disintegrated from over 700.000 members to zero because it was associated to violence and anarchism.

During the Haymarket Riot in 1886, incidents developed from a strike into a violent scenario, after someone threw a bomb to the police, resulting into eight casualties. Thereafter, public associated the image of this union with anarchism and savagery, losing all prestige and consequently its members.
