Answer:

Cytokinesis in animal cells occur by cleavage while in plants it occurs through the formation of a cell plate.

Explanation:

 • Cytokinesis refers to the process through which the cytoplasm divide in animal and plant cells.
 • It occurs after the division of the nucleus.
 • Cytokinesis in animal cells differs from that in plant cells in that, in animal cells it occurs by cleavage while in plant cells cytokinesis occurs through the formation of a cell plate.
 • In animal cells, cleavage occurs as a result of the activity of actin and myosin which results to dividing of cytoplasm in to two.
 • In plant cells, cell plate is formed by the fusion of golgi bodies on the equator which will generate cell wall and the plasma membrane between daughter cells.

What specifically determines how much energy is available in a molecular
HACTEHA [7]

C The number and types of bonds within the molecule.

Explanation:

In a molecule, the number and types of bonds present determines the amount of available energy therein.

When bonds are broken or formed, energy is usually released.

 • Elements combine with one another in order to attain stability in this state.
 • Through this process, they form bonds by attraction.
 • Where atoms exchange their valence electrons by losing or gaining it, electrovalent bonds form.
 • In covalent molecules, electrons are usually shared between atoms.
 • An attraction result from this type of interaction.
 • The bond formed stores energy in the process.
 • When bonds are broken, energy is usually released. The energy accrues when the bond was being formed.
 • In molecules, we have covalent bond.

Svetach [21]

Answer: Carbonic acid occurs naturally in the body and performs important regulatory functions.

Explanation: Carbonic acid ( H_2CO_3 ) is an acid formed from the carbon dioxide present in the body. It is also known as the respiratory acid as it helps in the transport of carbon dioxide in the body.

With the help of enzyme Carbonic Anhydrase, carbon dioxide is converted into carbonic acid. This acid is an unstable intermediate which gets dissociated into bicarbonate ions ( HCO_3^- ) and H^+ ions. immediatley.

Therefore, Carbonic acid performs important regulatory functions in the body.
