The generic balanced equation given is:
2a+b .......> c+3d

From this balanced equation we can note that:
2 moles of "a" leads to the formation of 3 moles of "d"

Therefore:
The ratio d:a is 3:2

Answer: D : A is 3 : 2.

Explanation:

The law of definite proportion is being used here. The law states that a given compound always has the same proportion of its constituent elements by mass

Keeping in mind law and equation:

2a + b = c + 3d

using the ratio of Stoichiometric coefficients:

This means that from two moles of "a" forms three moles of "d"

So the ratio of d:a is 3:2

A student listed the characteristics of chemical and nuclear reactions.
lidiya [134]

Answer:

D. It is a chemical reaction because the total mass remains the same when new substances are formed.

Explanation:

A chemical reaction is represented by a chemical equation which show the reactant and products. Reactants are written on left side of arrow while products are written on right side. The number of atoms are remain same however arrangement of atoms is different on both side.

For example:

6H₂O + 6CO₂ + energy → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂

it is known from balanced chemical equation that 6 moles of carbon dioxide react with the six moles of water and created one mole of glucose and six mole of oxygen. The number of atoms are same on both side however arrangement of atoms is different.

While in case of nuclear reaction small change in mass take place.

Aqueous sodium hydroxide forms a light blue precipitate. What is the formula of the blue precipitate?
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Cu2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq) => Cu(OH)2(s)

Explanation:

Use of aqueous sodium hydroxide is a precipitation reaction to test for anions or cations. Aqueous sodium hydroxide in a precipitate test forms a insoluble precipitates along with some colors characteristics.

Aqueous sodium hydroxide (NaOH) when mixed with copper(II) (Cu2+) forms a blue precipitate. The formula is as follows:

Cu2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq) => Cu(OH)2(s)
