Answer:

The second grating produces the greater separation

Explanation:

In a diffraction grating we have

dsin\theta=m\lambda\\

with d:

d=\frac{1}{N}

N : lines/cm

we can compare he separation by takin m as a constant, for example m=1. Hence we have for N=3000 and N=6000:

sin\theta=N\lambda\\sin\theta=3000\lambda\\sin\theta=6000\lambda\\

but sin(theta) = y/D (D, distance to the grating)

y_1=3000D\lambda\\y_2=6000D\lambda

hence, the second grating produces the greater separation, because lambda and D are constant.

hope this helps!

Answer:

The grating with 6000 lines produces the greater dispersion

Explanation:

Grating is referred to as any regularly spaced collection of identical, parallel and elongated elements.

The relationship between the lines per measurements of gratings and their dispersion is that; the higher the number of grating lines per measurements (which could be centimetres, metres, etc; preferably metres) increases , the smaller and the narrower the maxima becomes. Gratings with a large numbers of lines per measurements are at their peaks and they product a very sharp and accurate wavelength measurements which gives them a greater dispersion compared to gratings with lower lines per measurements.

A car traveling at 10 m/s speeds up to 20 m/s in 3 seconds. determine the acceleration of the car
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

66m/s

Explanation:

because 10 meters/per second is going to be 22 mph/35 km, and 20m/s is 44 mph/70 km and in 3 seconds it would boost its mph/km(m/s) to 66 only because from 22 mph to 44 mph is 22 but 44/22 = 22, however you have top multiply that by 3 seconds which will coem out to 66 m/s, mph, km.

The cabinet is being pulled with 200N and is being rested by a force equal to 200N. That is why it is not being moved.

<span>Although the force of static friction can equal Fk=µs*F=m*g*µs=(30kg)*(9.8m/s^2)*(0.80)=235 N. It is not resisting the 200N force with 235N. Imagine if you pushed something with 200N and it pushed you back with 235N, especially a cabinet. You would think that the cabinet was alive.</span>
