Mathematics

Answer:

y = 5^x

Step-by-step explanation:

y= b*(a)^x + c

c could = 1 but then you would not have an exponential function. c = 0 because the graph follows the x axis up until x = -2. Suppose c = 1. The the graph would follow y = 1 up until x = - 2

When x = 0, y = 1 which means that b. If b is anything but 0 or 1 then the y intercept would be stretched to a different place. If be = 0 then y would = 0.

So the graph is of the form y = a^x

Now when x = 0 the graph, the y intercept is y = a^0  or y = 1 So the y intercept is (0,1)

Now the next point is thing to solve for is a.

When x = 1, y = 5  (read the graph)

y = a^x

5 = a^1

5 = a because a^1 is a.

Answer

y = 5^x.

5 = a^1

AURORKA [14]

Answer: Check the picture below.

Make sure your calculator is in Degree mode.

the question "how long is the kite?" is not quite clear, i suppose it was asking how far it was from the ground (b) or horizontally (a). I calculated both, I hope this helps

How to find the radius of a circle with a given measurement?
pychu [463]
Well, it depends on the given measurements of that circle. Typically, to find the radius of a circle you'd have to divide the diameter in half.

Sarah decides to take her six-year-old son to the circus the price for the child ticket is $4.75 dollars Less in the price for t
kogti [31]
Since the child ticket is y-4.75 (saying y is the adult ticket), we need to solve for y in y-4.75=x. Adding 4.75 to both sides, we get y=x+4.75

Between the two investment plans listed below, which will have the greatest future value and by what amount? Round all answers t
inn [45]

Answer:

from original question:

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine the future value for the 401(k), we need to determine the amount contributed annually. It is stated that the amount the employee contributes to the fund is 9% of $45,624. $45,624(0.09) = $4,106.16 The employer contributes a maximum of 3% of the employee contribution. Therefore: $45,624(0.03) = $1368.72. Therefore, the total annual contribution is $5,474.88, giving a future value of $196,302.40. For the Roth IRA, the monthly contributions are $352.45 giving a future value of $152,636.09. Therefore, the 401(k) has a greater future value by $43,666.31.
