More social fear could result in social anxiety disorder. Social anxiety disorder (SAD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by a significant amount of fear in social situations. It causes stress and disability to function in daily life.

People with social anxiety disorder think that they are under scrutiny by others and fears that he or she may do something humiliating or embarrassing. It is an excessive amount of "shyness" which leads to excessive social avoidance and social impairment. People with social anxiety disorder try to avoid any type of social interaction, especially dating, parties, talking to strangers, interviews, etc.

MArishka [77]

Answer:

self-administered survey

Explanation:

Jackie is doing a study on the number of hours spent watching TV and how this affects family cohesion. She decides to mail a questionnaire to randomly selected households in her state. This is an example of self-administered survey. A self-administered survey is a survey that is done or designed in such a way that the researcher will not interfere with the respondents. In this method the respondents complete the survey on their own with no agent to guide or interfere in the process. While this method is relatively cheap, the respondents feel more at ease, there is a higher requirement of respondents because due to the absence of monitoring or guidance there is usually increased error in questionnaires.
