You will notice that some lineages (e.g. the descendants of species 56) branched many times and are represented by many living s

pecies. Discuss the ecological conditions that you think might result in the rapid diversification of some lineages. Use the caminalcules as examples. Think about what environmental conditions drove these particular caminalcules to evolve (A real world example would be the diversification of the mammals at the beginning of the Cenozoic, right after the dinosaurs went extinct.)

Answer:

The environment selects the lineage which better fits their specializations in the available resources.

Explanation:

The possible motive that lineages demonstrated quickly diversification might happen because the environment contained the opportunities which the lineages took as an opportunity to evolve. The environment could have benefited some species rather than others which could lead to different specializations of different lineages. For example, after the downfall of the dominance of dinosaurs, mammals had a few new environments to evolve with new resources, this led to more lineage biodiversification.

Makovka662 [10]

Answer: S- phase of cell cycle

Explanation:

Cell cycle is a cyclical process taken place in a cell leading to duplication of its DNA and division of cytoplasm to form two daughter cells.

The S phase of a cell cycle is an important part of the cycle which is found during interphase stage before either mitosis or meiosis.

The S phase of cell cycle is responsible for the replication of DNA. This replication DNA causes it to double before it enters mitosis or meiosis.

How do sulfur and phosphorus move from the biotic to the abiotic pools during their cycles? A) Primary consumers eat producers.
worty [1.4K]

Answer:D) Decomposers break down the remains of producers and consumers

Explanation:A biotic pool is a tidal pool with diverse and changing habitats of living factors. We can say they are important mini ecosystems within the larger ecosystem.

The abiotic pool involves the elemental phases of nature, the non living parts of the ecosystem. Decomposition (break down) of elements/organic compounds is the characteristic bridge between both pools into what is known as nutrients.

This tell us that the ultimate dead part of producers and consumers are used up in this process.

Some of the nutrients released in the biogeochemical cyclic process includes sulfur and phosphorus and they move through the ecosystem.

Note: The biogeochemical cycle is a pathway of movement for chemical elements.

The chemical elements in nature moves through both biotic and abiotic components via abiotic and biotic interaction in the ecosystem

Few abiotic factors includes rocks, air, water, and chemicals while biotic factors includes living organisms activities.

All living and non living elements of nature play vital roles in the great biogeochemical cycle.

Why is it necessary to have a constant input of energy into an ecosystem?
IrinaK [193]
If there was not a constant Input of energy into the ecosystem then nothing would have the power to do anything and nothing would be alive. the energy starts with the sun, then goes to plants, then animals that eat the plants, and then the animals that eat those animals, Ect. if this chain reaction did not happen then the plants wouldn't have to power to go through photosynthesis and then we would get no energy. the amount of energy lessen with every chain that it goes through, this is why we get more energy eating plants and why they are healthier.
