Rzqust [24]

Answer:

He gets stuck in the 1985 version on Mario and Luigi, and his brother has to play the game to get him free again. I did 4 paragraphs.

Explanation:

I remember the summer of 2018 it was horrible, but delightful at the same time. Something happen to me, Jacob Michaels, nothing ever happens to me. Me older brother Jack and I went to the abandoned arcade. I was scared because I knew Jack would leave me if he got scared. He always leaves me. Jack said, "Come on you chicken." I replied rudely, "It's not being a chicken when your brain knows you're in danger." "Whatever", Jack said.

Once we entered it wasn't as creepy, but I was sure the games didn't work they were like 30 years old. Suddenly I heard "It's Mario". Jack said "Look." I turned around cautiously. "We should leave now!", I said. "Chicken" Jack said. "I'm no chicken." I ran to the game and pushed play. Suddenly I saw nothing but pixels and a giant Jack. "Jacob, Jacob, can you hear me??!!!" "Yes I can!! Get me out of here!!" I was still as a marble statue. "Jack I can't move try moving the controls." Out of nowhere I was jumping and running.

I thought to myself this is just like that movie Jumanji. "Jack we have to finish the game!" I said, "We have to rescue Princess Peach." Jack said, "I'll try my best." I felt I was there for days, weeks, no months! I regenerated 60 times I would die from angry brown things or we would make it to Princess Peach and Jack would drop me in the lava. I didn't feel anything, but I told Jack it hurt, so he would try harder. Finally we made it back to Princess Peach. Suddenly Luigi appeared he said "Let's go Mario". I followed his lead, and I touched Princess Peach and returned to my normal self.

When I got home that day Jack said, "I always have to get you out of trouble." "Yeah, because you always get me in it", I replied. "I'm just happy I got you out and you're safe Jacob." Jack said. "You mean happy Luigi got me out", I teased. Jack later explained he was there for only an hour. I guess the time in video games are different. That day 20 years ago brought my Jack and I closer together. And that's why I stick to board games now!

In the following sentence identify the appositive or appositive phrase and the noun or pronoun renamed by the appositive. Charlo
yan [13]

Answer:

Appositive: the book by E.B. White

Noun or pronoun renamed: Charlotte's We

Explanation:

Appositive/appositive phrase is a noun/a noun phrase that remains another noun or a pronoun. There are two types of appositive phrases: restrictive (provides essential information about the noun it renames) and non-restrictive ( gives us more details about the renamed noun. Another important feature is that non-restrictive appositive phrases are always separated with commas from the rest of the sentence.

So, in this case, our appositive phrase is the book by E.B. White, and the noun it renames is Charlotte's Web. It is separated with commas and gives us more details about the renamed noun which makes it non-restrictive appositive phrase.
