I am pretty sure the answer is C. Don't take childhood for granted. He feels like he did in his childhood, but he dismissed it when younger.

A quote from the paragraph says,"<span>He supposed that, if he had ever thought about that deep-running aquifer of energy as a kid (he could not recall that he ever had), he would have simply dismissed it as a fact of life, something that would always be there, like the color of his eyes . . . ."

That is why I think the answer is C. Don't take your childhood for granted. </span>

Read the narrative and determine the point of view:
kari74 [83]
Well it's obviously not first person because do I really need to explain? It's not third person limited either because we would get to know the feelings and thoughts of one characters but we don't know the feelings or thoughts of any. It's not third person omniscient since we don't know any background information or stuff that the characters don't know yet.

The answer is D, third person objective because we don't know <span>any of the characters' thoughts, opinions, or feelings. It's all unbiased & neutral.
