Answer:

Explanation: Rotation is when the Earth spins on it's axis and that's how there's 24 hours in one day to complete a rotation. Revolution is when the Earth re-volutes itself around the Sun. At the end of each year the Earth makes a complete revolution around the Sun. This is also the same for the moon revolting around Earth, making it day and night.

Answer:

Rotation is the spin of a body on its axis. Revolution is the movement of one body around another in an ellipse-shaped path called an orbit. Earth rotates on its axis and revolves around the Sun. The moon rotates on its axis and revolves around Earth.

Which statement about anaerobic respiration is true? Anaerobic respiration prevents muscle fatigue. Anaerobic respiration genera
yan [13]

Answer;

Anaerobic respiration is used commercially in the production of beer, wine, bread, yogurt, and cheese.

Explanation;

-Anaerobic respiration is a type of respiration that does not use oxygen. It is used when there is not enough oxygen for aerobic respiration.There are two main types of anaerobic respiration, alcoholic fermentation and lactic acid fermentation.

-The carbon dioxide produced as a by-product when yeast perform alcoholic fermentation on the sugar in the bread mix is the gas that causes dough to rise.  The sugars in produce like barley, grapes and other grains and fruits is what allows yeast to produce the bubbles and alcohol in beer, wine and other liquors.

How many moles of air are there in a 3 L container at 1 atm pressure and 294 K?Use PV=nRT
Keith_Richards [23]

The ideal gas law states: PV=nRT

If we put in the data.

1\cdot7=n\cdot8.31\cdot294 \\n=\boxed{2.865\cdot10^{-3}mol}=\boxed{2.865mmol}

Hope this helps.

What features form when rocks bend?
bezimeni [28]
When the sedimentary layers of rocks are soft and under pressure they can be bent into curved structures called geosynclines. One theory is that heat partially melts the sedimentary layers of rocks allowing them to be bent into the curved shapes.

Hope this helps :)!

A solution has a pH of 4.20. Using the relationship between pH and pOH, what is the concentration of OH−?
frez [133]

Answer : The concentration of OH^- ion is, 1.58\times 10^{-10}M

Solution : Given,

pH = 4.20

First we have to calculate the pOH.

As we know that,

pH+pOH=14

pOH=14-pH

pOH=14-4.20

pOH=9.8

Now we have to calculate the concentration of OH^- ion.

pOH=-\log [OH^-]

9.8=-\log [OH^-]

[OH^-]=1.58\times 10^{-10}M

Therefore, the concentration of OH^- ion is, 1.58\times 10^{-10}M
