I THINK it might be y=cos(x)+2. Don’t quote me on that and you might wanna check with someone else

Answer:

y = cos x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. By looking at the shape of the graph, you can infer that it is either a cos or sin graph.

2. Look at the y value when X = 0. It starts with an inverted bell shape curve, from there we can infer that it is a cosine graph. if it is a sin graph, the shape will be like a toppled S shape curve.

3. This part is a bit trial and error for me:

Let X = 0,

cos 0 = 1

But the graph shows that when X = 0, Y = 3,

So there are 2 possibilities:

  • 3 cos X
  • cos X + 2

However when X = π,

  • 3 cos π = -3
  • cos π + 2 = 1

So cos x + 2 is the only option.

Hope it makes sense to you. Sorry if it sounds confusing, English is not my first language.

Answer:

120 deg

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw a horizontal line that passes vertices of 2 angles 125 deg and 115 deg.

This line is perpendicular with 2 vectors.

Apply the property of vertical angles and the sum of 3 angles in a triangle.

x = 180 - (125 - 90) - (115 - 90) = 120 deg

Is a triangle with sides of length 6ft, 21 ft, 23 ft. A right triangle?
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

By using the Pythagoras theorem, it can be easily determined that whether the triangle is right triangle or not.

Thus, a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2} where where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse.

Let a=6ft, b=21ft and c=23ft, then

a^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}

(6)^{2}+(21)^{2}=(23)^{2}

36+441=(23)^{2}

477=529

which is not possible, therefore the given triangle is not right triangle because it does not satisfy the Pythagoras theorem.

The size of a television screen is given by the length of its diagonal. What is the size of a television that has a width of 36
adelina 88 [10]
You need to use the Pythagorean theorem for this. Take the square root of (48^2 + 36^2). This will give you the length of the diagonal.

48^2 + 36^2 = 3600

Remember we need to take the square root of 3600, which is just 60.

The length of the diagonal is 60 inches.
