Answer:

For example, if you wish to find the average grade on a test for your class but one student fell asleep and scored a 0, the mean would show a much lower average because of one low grade, while the median would show how the middle group of students scored.

Answer:

mean: (add all numbers given together, and divide by amount there is) eg:

3, 4, 8, 7

3+4+8+7= 22

22 ÷ 4= 5.5

median: (order the numbers, smallest to largest, find the middle number) eg:

2, 4, 6, 6, 9, 8, 3

2, 3, 4, 6, 6, 8, 9

eliminate each number, left to right

3, 4, 6, 6, 8

4, 6, 6

6 is the median. if there was no exact middle number then it would look like this:

3, 4, 6, 7, 8

4, 6, 7, 8

6,7 - in between 6 and 7 is 6.5, so median is 6.5

mode: (number that is most frequently used) eg:

3, 2, 4, 5, 5, 6, 8, 7, 7, 8, 7

the number that is most used it 7, so 7 is the mode

three trigonometric functions for a given angle are shown below csc theta = 13/12, sec theta = -13/5, cot theta = -5/12 what are
goldenfox [79]
We have that
csc ∅=13/12
sec ∅=-13/5
cot ∅=-5/12

we know that
csc ∅=1/sin ∅
sin ∅=1/ csc ∅------> sin ∅=12/13

sec ∅=-13/5
sec ∅=1/cos ∅
cos ∅=1/sec ∅------> cos ∅=-5/13

sin ∅ is positive and cos ∅ is negative
so
∅ belong to the II quadrant

therefore
the coordinates of point (x,y) on the terminal ray of angle theta are
x=-5
y=12

the answer is
point (-5,12)
