All continental coastlines match up with continental drifts. As a matter of fact, you could literally cut out the continents from a map and put them together like a puzzle and they would fit. Easiest to notice is the west of Africa and the east of South America.

The answer is a.
The graph's line is higher if velocity is higher, and lower if velocity is lower. This is because the y axis is velocity. Thus, the fastest (highest velocity) that the car went is when the line was highest, and that is when x is 1.

A 0.290 cm diameter plastic sphere, used in a static electricity demonstration, has a uniformly distributed 30.0 pC charge on it
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

Therefore,

The potential (in V) near its surface is 186.13 Volt.

Explanation:

Given:

Diameter of sphere,

d= 0.29 cm

radius=\dfrac{d}{2}=\dfrac{0.29}{2}=0.145\ cm

r = 0.145\ cm = 0.145\times 10^{-2}\ m

Charge ,

Q = 30.0\ pC=30\times 10^{-12}

To Find:

Electric potential , V = ?

Solution:

Electric Potential at point surface is given as,

V=\dfrac{1}{4\pi\epsilon_{0}}\times \dfrac{Q}{r}

Where,

V= Electric potential,

ε0 = permeability free space = 8.85 × 10–12 F/m

Q = Charge

r = Radius

Substituting the values we get

V=\dfrac{1}{4\times 3.14\times 8.85\times 10^{-12}}\times \dfrac{30\times 10^{-12}}{0.145\times 10^{-2}}

V=\dfrac{30}{16.117\times 10^{-2}}=186.13\ Volt

Therefore,

The potential (in V) near its surface is 186.13 Volt.

Ray Of Light [21]

Answer: An increase in carbon dioxide will occur in the atmosphere because there are less trees to use the gas in the process of photosynthesis.

Explanation: Photosynthesis can be simply defined as a process where green plants uses minerals from the soil, water and carbon dioxide to produce their own food (energy-rich organic compound/starch) while oxygen is released into the environment.

On the other hand, Human beings and other animals inhales the oxygen released into the environment by green plants and breath out carbon dioxide.

Deforestation is the permanent removal trees either for commercial or household use or in some cases, to make room or space for other activities or development.

Now when these trees (green plants) are permanently cut down without replacement, humans and other animals continuously exhale carbon dioxide and there will be little or no green plants (trees) available to convert this carbon dioxide into oxygen.

Hence, there will be an increased amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as their are little or no tress to use the gas (carbon dioxide) in the process of photosynthesis.
