Chemistry

Answer:

Here's what I get

Explanation:

An orbital is a region in space where an orbital is most likely to be found. It has a specific size, shape, and energy level, depending on its set of quantum numbers.

For example, the order of increasing orbital energies is n = 1, 2, 3, …. Orbitals with the same principal quantum number (n) belong to the same energy level.

Orbitals in energy levels with n > 1 can be divided into groups depending on their secondary quantum number (l).

For example, the n=3 energy level consists of 10 orbitals —  one s, three p, and five d orbitals. the s, p, and d orbitals constitute three sublevels with slightly different energies in the n = 3 energy level.

In the lab you react 2.0 g of Na2CO3 with enough CaCl2. According to the reaction Na2CO3 + CaCl2 -> CaCO3 + 2NaCl How much Ca
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

1.89 g CaCO₃

Explanation:

You will have to use stoichiometry for this question.  First, look at the chemical equation.

Na₂CO₃  +  CaCl₂  ==>  2 NaCl  +  CaCO₃

From the above equation, you can see that for one mole of Na₂CO₃, you will produce one mole of CaCO₃.  This means that however many moles of Na₂CO₃ you have in the beginning, you will have the same amount of moles  of CaCO₃, theoretically speaking.

So, convert grams to moles.  You should get 0.0189 mol Na₂CO₃.  This means that you will get 0.0189 mol CaCO₃.  I'm not sure what units you want the answer in, but I'm going to give it in grams.  Convert moles to grams.  Your answer should be 1.89 g.

Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

Protium

Explanation:

Isotopes -

For some elements , there are various forms possible , which have different number of neutron and same number of protons , are referred to as the isotopes .

The three isotopes possible for the element hydrogen are -

Protium , Deuterium and Tritium .

Where ,

  • Protium has one electron , one proton and zero neutron.
  • Deuterium has one electron , one proton and one neutron.
  • Tritium has one electron , one proton and two neutron.

The most abundant isotope observed is Protium , with 99.98% abundance.
