Depression is a mental illness that causes people to feel down and sad. Signs include not sleeping, sleeping too much, eating too much, not eating, isolating yourself from others, crying a lot, feeling as if you let yourself or others down, suicidal thoughts, loosing interests in things you used to enjoy, etc.
