ETS reaction or Electron transport system comprise of sequential set of reactions that take place in a living cell and lead to the production of ATP so that organism can perform the day to day energy needing activities. The process of electron transport chain specifically takes place in the mitochondria of animals where different proteins and electron carriers are found. This system accepts the electrons from carrier molecules and then stores it in such a way that it can phophorylate Adenosine di phosphate (ADP) to energy rich molecule Adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP).
