F(x)=3 over x+2-x-3 squared what is f(7)
dimaraw [331]

<u>Answer:</u>

f(7)=\frac{-5}{3} or f(7)=-1.67

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We are given the following function of x and we are to find the value of f ( 7 ):

f ( x ) = \frac { 3 } { x + 2 } - \sqrt { x - 3 }

Substituting the given value (7) in the above function to get:

f(x)=\frac{3}{x+2}-\sqrt{x-3}

f ( 7 )= \ frac{3}{7+2}-\sqrt{7-3}

f(7) = \frac { 3 } { 9 } - \sqrt { 4 }

f(7)=\frac{1}{3}-2

f(7)=\frac{1}{3}-\frac{6}{3}

f(7)=\frac{-5}{3} or f(7)=-1.67

How many numbers are equal to the sum of two odd, one-digit numbers?
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

Seven numbers.

Step-by-step explanation:

Finding the numbers, which are equal to the sum of two odd number and it has to be single digit number.

Lets look into numbers which are odd and single digit.

1 = 1+3, 1+5, 1+7, 1+9

∴ Sum of the number is 4,6,8\ and\ 10

3 = 3+5, 3+7, 3+9

∴ Sum of above number is 8,10\ and\ 12

5 = 5+7, 5+9

∴ Sum of above number is 12\ and\ 14

7= 7+9

∴ Sum of above number is 16

Now, accumlating numbers which are fullfiling the criteria, however, making sure no number should get repeated.

∴ Numbers are: 4,6,8,10,12,14\ and\ 16

Hence, there are total 7 numbers, which  are equal to the sum of two odd, one-digit numbers.
