maksim [4K]

Answer:

Traditional

Explanation:

Managed health care plans are health insurance plans. Certain health insurance providers team up with hospital and medical facilities also known as health care providers so that they can provide medical services to people at a very reduced price and rate.

Managed health care plan can be used as a substitute for traditional health care plan due to the reduced price and rate they provide for their members.

Examples of these Managed health care plans are :

a) Health Maintenance Organization (HMO): This is a type of health insurance plan that employers of labour in a organisation provide for their employees. The only difference is that it is not restricted to a particular medical facility or a particular doctor. In this plan you can choose the doctor that you would like to attend to you. It is a flexible plan. A member can choose between a medical facility (or doctor) in the Preferred Provider Organization or a medical facility (or doctor )outside the organization. The Preferred Provider Organization would cover the cost.

c)Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO): This is an health insurance plan that people who choose this plan or employees in an organization can make use of any health care provider or medical facilities in this organization.
