1. Two triangles can be mapped to each other only if they are similar.

2. So we are assuming similarity of the triangles.

3. First we translate vertex A to vertex X
    Second, we rotate AC to XZ (or now AZ) , with an angle measure equal to that of angle CXZ
    third we dilute the larger to the smaller so that they match.

Triangle BCD is similar to triangle ACE. If the triangles are isosceles, what is the length of AB?
zzz [600]

\frac{2.75}{22}  =  \frac{5}{ac}  \\ ac = 5 \div ( \frac{2.75}{22} )  = 40 \\ ab = 40 - 5 = 35

What is the what is the answer
ElenaW [278]
The answer would be D. 18/6. We can figure this out because in the question, it says that each shape is worth one whole. There are three shapes so that means when added, the sum is 3 and 18/6, when reduced is 3.
I hope this helped! :-)

Help me with this problem
damaskus [11]
Yes, it is possible because there are 4 different directions you can travel on a coordinate plane: up, down, left and right. So the answer is (1,9) (1,1) (5,5) and (-3,5)

Hello,
x^{2000}*x^{1998}=2^{1999}*x^{1999}\\
==\textgreater\  x^{2000+1998}=2^{1999}*x^{1999}\\
==\textgreater\  x^{2000+1998-1999}=2^{1999}\\
==\textgreater\  x^{1999}=2^{1999}\\
==\textgreater\  x=2

A girl is given 500 stamps to start a collection . If she adds 5 stamps a week , how many will she have at the end of n weeks ?
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

T=(5×n)+500

Step-by-step explanation:

T=Total Stamps

In this case, there is no need to find the answer. All you need is the equation. N would be the multiplier in this case because it's the one that's changing since you're using a variable. If 3 weeks were to pass, then N would equal 3 weeks.
