So 37 1/2
each can hold 2 1/2 oz

how many cups can he fill

37 1/2=75/2
2 1/2=5/2

x=number of cups
x times 5/2=75/2
5/2x=75/2
multiply both sides by 2
5x=75
divide both sides by 5
x=15
he can fill 15 cups

PLEASE HELP!!! PLEASE EXPLAIN AND SHOW WORK!!!! THANK YOU !!!!
liraira [26]

Answer:

t = 2.5 s

Step-by-step explanation:

h(t)=-16t^2 +80t+96

height will be greatest when the derivative (velocity) is zero

h'(t) = v(t) = -32t + 80

            0 = -32t + 80

         32t = 80

             t = 80/32 = 2.5 s

notice that 0 = -32t + 80 is just a version of the kinematic equation

v = u + at

where v is final velocity at the top of the arc or zero

u is the initial upward velocity or 80 ft/s

a is gravity or -32  ft/s²

t is time in seconds
