20 golf balls can fit in the can.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Given:

Height (h) = 10 Inches

Volume of 15.625 Pi inches cube.

To Find:

How many balls can be filled in that can.

Solution:

Diameter of the golf ball [as per standard value] = 1.68 in

Radius of the golf ball = \frac{1.68}{2} = 0.84 in

Volume of the golf ball = \frac{4\pi r^3}{3}

                                      = \frac{4\pi (0.84)^3}{3}

                                       = 2.5  (or)   0.79 \pi inches

Volume of the can = 15.625\pi  in^3

Now we have to divide the volume of the can by the volume of the golf ball, we will get =  \frac{15.625 \pi }{0.79\pi } = 19.7 balls

Thus we can conclude that approximately 20 balls can be filled in that can.

<span>The first choice is correct.

Explanation<span>:

The formula for slope is m=(y</span></span>₂<span><span>-y</span></span>₁<span><span>)/(x</span></span>₂<span><span>-x</span></span>₁<span><span>). Once we find the slope using that formula, it goes in place of m in y=mx+b.

We do not yet have the y-intercept, but we can use one of the points to find it. We substitute the x-coordinate of one point in for x and the y-coordinate of the same point in for y; then we solve for b. This gives us the y-intercept.</span></span>

for each sequence, find the first 4 term and the 10th term 2nsquard (algbra) pls can sm1 answer me plis
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the terms of the sequence substitute n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 into the rule.

n = 1 → 2(1)² = 2(1) = 2

n = 2 → 2(2)² = 2(4) = 8

n = 3 → 2(3)² = 2(9) = 18

n = 4 → 2(4)² = 2(16) = 32

n = 10 → 2(10)² = 2(100) = 200

The first 4 terms are 1, 8, 18, 32 and the 10 th term is 200
