Answer:

18

Explanation:

Let the cook x eggs in $12

Then the price per egg will be \frac{12}{x} and the price per dozen will be \frac{12}{x}\times 12=\frac{144}{x}

Now as the eggs are small the seller give him two extra egg

So the number of eggs =x+2

Then the price of per egg will be \frac{12}{x+2} and the price per dozen will be \frac{12}{x+2}\times 12=\frac{144}{x+2}

Now according to question

\frac{144}{x}-\frac{144}{x+2}=1

Now if we put x=16 in the equation then it will satisfy the equation

So the total number of eggs that the cook bring =16+2=18

On December 1, 2021, the company received $9,000 in cash from another company that is renting office space in Falwell’s building
MrMuchimi

Answer:

From all indications, the two rents received have been posted wrongly, I want to believe that you are required to post the adjusting entries, hence my answer below:

The first $9000 was posted to deferred revenue, whereas only two months should have been

First rent:

DR Deferred revenue $3000

CR Revenue                 $3000

Second Rent

DR Revenue                  $6000

CR Deferred revenue    $6000

Explanation:

The first $9000 was posted to deferred revenue, whereas only two months should have been deferred and December rent recognized as rent.

As far as the second rent is concerned only one month has been earned,as a result the revenue should be credited with just $3000  for December.

This then mean that revenue from the second property has been overstated in December by $6000,this necessitated by adjustment above.

Semmy [17]

Answer: kindly check explanation

Explanation: Risk as related to a project may be reffered to as occurrences or factors which could affect a project, they may not always be negative as usually perceived, they may be positive. Hence, when a perceived negative risk is perceived, it is essential to escalate and ensure that the necessary stakeholders become aware so as to find ways of mitigating or avoiding such happening.

In the case of positive risk or opportunity, escalating is equally important as it ensures relevant executives are aware and hence work on ways or processes to foster, embrace and exploit the advantage.

If a utility company were considering an increase in electricity or gas prices in order to cover the costs of a capital investme
Firlakuza [10]

Question:

If an utility company were considering an increase in electricity or gas prices in order to cover the costs of a capital investment, this sector would result in the smallest change in quantity demanded in the long run and thus higher profits. True or false?

Answer:

The answer is True.

Explanation:

Change in the demand for gasoline and or electricity is primarily set by the number of industrial or bulk users.

Scarce goods are allocated though the help of prices. It is important to note that demand for gasoline or electricity is <u>more elastic in the long term</u>, so small changes in price will alter supply and demand in either direction in the shortrun.

The demand for gas or electricity are by nature <em><u>inelastic.</u></em> This means that when prices go up, demand goes down <em><u>but not by much.</u></em>

It means that in the short term, the individuals cannot alter their lifestyle immediately to adjust for the hike in prices.

To adjust they would have to probably purchase new devices which or cars which consume less gas or electricity.

The effect this has for the company on the overall is that they are able to achieve their aim of recouping their capital investments from the planned increase in price.

Cheers!
