Answer:

The tree is 18ft tall

Explanation:

Shadow = Real

4ft = 6ft(man)

1ft = 1.5ft

Let tree = yft

12 = y

y = 12 × 1.5

= 18ft

Can someone solve this?
inn [45]

Answer:

1. 15 degrees.

2. 90 degrees.

3. 66 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

M and 2 appear to be 90 degrees. This is because there are parallel sides on the left and right of the kite. So, 2 is 90 degrees.

E and 75 are corresponding (I don't remember the postulate or whatnot) so 90 degrees plus 75 degrees is 165 degrees. There are 180 degrees in a triangle, so 180 minus 165 is 15. 1 Has to be 15 degrees.

3 is 66 degrees since it is corresponding with the angle on the other side of T (I, once again, do not remember the postulate).

What is the product 4n/4n-4 n-1/n+1
olga_2 [115]
4n/4n-4 × n-1/n+1
= 4n(n-1)/(4n-4)(n+1)
= (4n^2 - 4n)/(4n^2 + 4n - 4n-4)
= (4n^2 - 4n)/(4n^2 - 4)
= 4(n^2 - n)/4(n^2 - 1)
=(n^2 - n)/(n^2 - 1)

What is the measure of an angle that is it’s own complement ?
ValentinkaMS [17]

A complement is angle that can be added to another to equal 90 degrees.

So two times the same number would equal 90.

90 / 2 = 45

The angle that is its own complement is 45 degrees.

For a class experiment, Danny's class weighed a log before and after subjecting it to termites. Before subjecting it to termites
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

4.75 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

Before the termites: 5 pounds

After the termites: 1/4 of a pound

Amount that the termites took: x

5 - x = 1/4

Add x to both sides of the equation

5 = 1/4 + x

Subtract 1/4 from both sides of the equation

4 3/4 = x

4 3/4 = 4.75

The termites took 4.75 pounds from the log

Hope this helps :)
