Which phrase suitably describes how globalization has affected the medical profession?
andre [41]

The positive changes come at high costs to humanity.

Explanation:

Globalization most often brings in a lot of positive changes in any field by way of improvement in quality and availability of goods and services at higher standards but all at a higher cost to humanity.

Globalization leads to an increase in the transnational circulation of goods, service, capital, people, information and has brought the whole world into one connected place. Globalization has brought in technology closer to humanity and has reduced distance and time; however, the cost seems to be at a higher rate.

In the medical profession, the need to improve healthcare standards has always been the ultimatum.

The high cost is one of the main issues crippling private healthcare practices and hospitals. In order to meet the expenses arising from hospital building and maintenance cost, service and professional costs, the cost burden is often transferred to the patients.

If the treatment costs are higher for a healthcare requirement, the patient tends to travel to far off places where the same can be availed at a lesser cost.

Sustainable, affordable and standardized healthcare should be promoted.

ANEK [815]

Explanation:

I have been driving since i got my license at the age of 18. By the grace of God, i have never been charged of any violation but i have witnessed a lot of people making wrong moves during driving causing inconvenience or sometimes minor or sometimes major accidents.

Violating the red light signal is the first and common practice of most of the people. This causes inconvenience to others.

Coming on a one way road from the opposite direction. This is also common among the bikers. This causes minor accidents.

Third one could be violating the speed limit. Over speeding causes major accidents that may result in the causalities.

Angelina_Jolie [31]
This patient would be considered a priority since this could be potentially life threatening. The oxygen saturation level needs to be addressed right now. This is an important part of being a medical professional deciding what patients are a priority over others. You would not just go give someone a shower and not do anything for the patient with a low oxygen saturation level.
