Answer:

Orange\ area  = A^2(\sqrt{3}/4  - \pi/8) = 0.0403A^2

Step-by-step explanation:

First let's find the area of the triangle, using the formula:

Area\_triangle = side^2\sqrt{3}/4

Area\_triangle = A^2\sqrt{3}/4

Now, let's find the area of each circular sector of 60° (internal angle of a equilateral triangle):

Area\_sector = \pi*radius^2*60/360

Area\_sector = \pi*(A/2)^2/6

Area\_sector = \pi*A^2/24

Now, To calculate the orange area in the center, we have:

Orange\ area  = Area\_triangle - 3*Area\_sector

Orange\ area  = A^2\sqrt{3}/4  - \pi*A^2/8

Orange\ area  = A^2(\sqrt{3}/4  - \pi/8)

Orange\ area  = 0.0403A^2

3^3 - 5 x 9 + 6 - 29
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

-41

Step-by-step explanation:

3^3-5x9+6-29

calculate exponents 3^3=27

now write as; 27-5x9+6-29

now multiply and divide (left to right) 5x9=45

now rewrite as 27-45+6-29

now add and subtract(left to right) 27-45+6-29= -41

two brothers marco and fernando are training for a marathon marco runs at a rate of 6miles per hor. Fernando funs at at a rate o
satela [25.4K]
We know that
speed=distance/time
solve for time
time=distance/speed

in this problem
<span>Marco runs at a rate of 6 miles per hour.
</span><span>Fernando funs at a rate of 7.2 miles per hour
Difference=7.2-6=1.2 miles/hour
so
speed=1.2 miles/hour
distance=0.3 miles
time=?
</span>time=distance/speed-----> 0.3/1.2-----> 0.25 hour-----> 0.25*60=15 minutes
<span>
the answer is
0.25 hour (15 minutes)

Alternative Method
Let
x---------> Fernando's distance when Marco is 0.3 miles apart

</span>Fernando funs at a rate of 7.2 miles per hour
<span>for distance =x
time=x/7.2------> equation 1

</span>Marco runs at a rate of 6 miles per hour.
for distance=x-0.30
time=(x-0.30)/6------> equation 2

equate equation 1 and equation 2
 7.2*(x-0.3)=6x-----> 7.2x-2.16=6x
7.2x-6x=2.16------> x=2.16/1.2-------> x=1.8 miles

time=x/7.2-----1.8/7.2=0.25 hour

Help please? If you could answer both A and B that’d be great, but you can do only one if you want.
kati45 [8]

For a, this is just the median and the range of the data. Median is the middle number after all of them are in order, and the range is the highest number minus the smallest number.

If we arrange them all in order:

2, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15

The middle ones are 8 and 9, because there is an even number of results. That means the median is 8.5.

The range is 15 - 2, which is 13.

For b, 21 is an outlier because it is outside the set of movies watched. If 21 was a value in the table, that means that the order is:

2, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 21

Meaning that the middle value is now 9 (because of the odd number of values) and the range is 21 - 2, which is 19. The range would increase because the 21 is greater than all the other values (outlier), so the highest number is now 21. The median would also increase because you added a higher number to the list of numbers, so that the middle would shift one place higher.

Hope I helped!
