What is one difference between closed and open primary elections apex
jek_recluse [69]

Only party members who have registered to vote may participate in a closed primary. All voters may cast ballots in an open primary and the former allows any voter to participate, while the latter is restricted to party members.

A primary election often knon as primaries, is a process through which voters elect their preference for their party's candidate, or a candidate in general, in an upcoming election. This could also be described as an election through which a political party flag bearer is elected prior to the main election. Any registered voter may cast a ballot in any party's primary during an open primary. Only those who have registered to vote for the party holding the primary may do so in a closed primary. Majority versus plurality. runoff elections for the presidential election. An open primary is a primary election when voting for partisan candidates is permitted without the need for party membership. Voters may choose one party's ballot and cast their votes for that party's nomination in a typical open primary. In a closed primary, registered voters are required to declare their party preference on election day or earlier and only receive the ballot for the party of their choosing. By age 5, boys __________ than girls. question 1 options: have better balance can broad-jump slightly farther can hop and skip b
WARRIOR [948]

The correct answer would be option B, Can broad jump slightly farther.

By age 5, boys can broad jump slightly farther than girls.

Explanation:

According to researches, there are significant differences in the motor skills of young boys and young girls. Motor skills are the actions that involves the movement of muscles. So when comparing boys and girls on the basis of broad jump, then it is seen that boy's motor skills(muscle movement) is slightly better than the muscle movement of the young girls.

This is the reason that boys can jump lightly farther than girls.

It is believed that the reason why boys have slightly better muscle movement in many fields like batting, skipping, running, etc, is that they have a social pressure on them. Being boys, they are expected to be more powerful since early childhood. That is why they have better motor skills.

Using the prototype model, how would one form a concept of a fish?
Sergeu [11.5K]

The Prototype Model is a theory of graded categorization developed cognitivists such as Rosch (1970), Driven and Taylor (1988) which states that a concept is represented by a prototypical element. Thus, there are certain characteristics that frequently co-occur and lead to the definition of a certain category. It is worth mentioning, that certain members of a category are prototypical and they are not all equal. For example, if we think about the concept furniture, table is more frequently cited than counter or desk.

If we are asked about the concept of water animals for example, we will probably think of fish (they all live in the water, they have fins, they can swim, they can be of different shapes and sizes). Going deeper, if we are asked about the concept of fish, we would probably think about a little, two-fin, orange one and not, at least at first, about a shark or a whale for example, though this depends on our experience.
