If he/she is a high school student then she can have a part time job at a fast food restaurant such as McDonalds Or Pizza hut. He/she can be physically active by running or jogging a mile or 2 every day. He/she can use some tools at his/her house to be physically active.

Well the hormone would be one thing. I'd say because it strengthens our heart muscles and trains our breathing pattern to be more effective. These would lead to more efficient transportation of blood and hence oxygen to our whole body including our brain. Our brain becomes more alert, and our body more energetic.
