3 0

Answer:

The integers are -16, -14 and -12.

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 3 consecutive even integers,  so we let the 3 numbers be  n , n+2 and n + 4.

We are given:-

2n = 3(n + 4) + 4

2n = 3n + 12 + 4

-n = 16

n = -16   (answer)

Tonya and Pearl each completed a separate proof to show that alternate interior angles AKL and FLK are congruent. Who completed
zalisa [80]

Answer:

Tonya proof is correct
and Pearl proof is wrong

Step-by-step explanation:

AKL and GKB are obviously congruent. But the reasons given are different, One of the justification is Vertical Angles Theorem, and the other is Adjacent Angles.

But the correct justification is the Vertical Angles Theorem, because the angles are Vertically away from each other, or the angles are at opposite sides of each other. Which is when Vertical Angles Theorem is applied.
Making Tonya correct since that was the answer he given.

The definition of Adjacent Angles is incorrect, this Theorem is used when the angles are Adjacent to each other. When the angles are on the same line as the other angle, is when the definition of Adjacent Angles is applied. Not in this situation

Brennan has already run 16 miles on his own, and he expects to run 3 miles during each track practice. How many track practices
pentagon [3]

Answer:

It would take Brennan 4 track practice runs.

Step-by-step explanation:

He has already run 16 miles and needs to run 28 in total. If we are counting the 16 in the 28 miles, he would need to run only 12 more to reach his goal. And if he runs 3 miles a run, it would take him about 4 runs to finish his 28-mile goal.

(28-16=12 and 12/3=4)

Answer: 8

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagorean theorem - a^2+b^2=c^2

a^2+15^2=17^2

a^2+225=289

(subtract 225 from both sides)

a^2=64

(sq root both sides)

a=8

When the average price of an item increases from p1 to p2 over a period of n years, the annual rate of inflation r (in decimal f
Natali [406]

Answer:

the annual rate of inflation r is 0.023

Step-by-step explanation:

Given by the expression:

r=(\frac{p_2}{p_1})^{1/n}-1

The average price of a gallon of milk increased from $0.36 in 1913 to $3.53 in 2013.

Let p_1 = 0.36

p_2 =  3.53

n = 2013 - 1913 = 100

replacing our values into the given equation; then the annual rate of inflation r is as follows:

r=(\frac{3.53}{0.36})^{1/100}-1

r = 0.023

Hence, the annual rate of inflation r is 0.023
