Photo math is charging?   We don't need it.  We factor the difference of two squares.

\dfrac{5t^2-500}{t+10} = \dfrac{5(t^2- 100)}{t+10} = \dfrac{5(t-10)(t+10)}{t+10} = 5(t-10) = 5t-50

Answer: 5t-50

lions [1.4K]

Answer: the profit is $4750

Step-by-step explanation:

A hardware store pays $3500 for 42 lawnmowers. This means that the amount that the hardware store paid for one lawnmower would be

3500/42 = $500/6

Then the store sells the lawnmowers for $99 each. This means that the total revenue that the store got from selling 42 lawnmowers would be

500/6 × 99 = $8250

Profit = Revenue - cost

Therefore, profit that the store makes from the lawnmower sales is

8250 - 3500 = $4750

Evolution the expression when a=–3 and x=3 5a–x
Dafna11 [192]

It's a good idea to get into the habit of using <u>parentheses</u> when substituting numbers in for variables.

Since <em>a = -3</em> and <em>x = 3</em>, 5a - x is 5(-3) - (3).

5(-3) is -15 and we have (-15) - 3 which simplifies to -18.
