8 1/5 - 3 2/4 first you have to make them into improper fractions so that would be 41/5 - 14/4
and then they both have the common denominator of 20 so you change both denominators to 20
so that would be 164/20 - 70/20 which would be 94/20
which simplified is 4 7/10
