If you are using the word diameter, I am going to assume that the pool is round.  A round pool represents the shape of a cylinder.  The volume for a cylinder is \pi r^2h.  Diameter is twice the radius, so our radius is half of 27 which is 13.5 feet.  So our formula is V= \pi (13.5)^2(4).  That's the forumula for it.  That actual volume measure is 729 \pi ft^3, or multiplying in pi as 3.14, it's 2289.06 cubic feet.

The coordinate of centroid of a triangle whose vertices are (1,3,-2), (4,5,0), (6,3,9) is = ……………….
Dominik [7]

Answer:

C = (\frac{11}{3},\frac{11}{3},\frac{7}{3})

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(x_1,y_1,z_1) = (1,3,-2)

(x_2,y_2,z_2) = (4,5,0)

(x_3,y_3,z_3) = (6,3,9)

Required

Determine the coordinates of the centroid

Represent the coordinates with C.

C is calculated as follows:

C = (\frac{1}{3}(x_1+x_2+x_3),\frac{1}{3}(y_1+y_2+y_3),\frac{1}{3}(z_1+z_2+z_3}))

Substitute values of x and y in the given equation

C = (\frac{1}{3}(1+4+6),\frac{1}{3}(3+5+3),\frac{1}{3}(-2+0+9}))

C = (\frac{1}{3}(11),\frac{1}{3}(11),\frac{1}{3}(7}))

C = (\frac{11}{3},\frac{11}{3},\frac{7}{3})

<em>The above is the coordinate of the centroid</em>

Borland, Inc., has a profit margin of 5.6 percent on sales of $13.6 million. If the firm has debt of $6.4 million and total asse
aniked [119]

Answer:

ROA = 7.77 percent

Step-by-step explanation:

Borland, Inc., has a profit margin of 5.6 percent on sales of $13.6 million

Thus, profit = 5.6% of  $13.6 million

profit = 5.6 / 100 *  $13.6 million = $0.7616 million

Profit is same as net income

Formula for ROA (return on asset) = net income/ total asset

total asset as given = $9.8 million

Thus, ROA = $0.7616/ $9.8 = 0.0777

ROA in percentage = 0.0777*100 = 7.77

Thus, ROA is 7.77 percent .

Given the triangle below, what is the measure of x to the nearest foot?
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

18 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the triangle is right angled ; we could use trigonometry ;

Using the angle , 40° ; adjacent side, = 14 feets ; hypotenus = x

Cos θ = Adjacent / hypotenus

Cos 40 = 14 / x

0.7660444 = 14 / x

0.7660444x = 14

x = 14 / 0.7660444

x = 18.27

= 18 ( nearest foot)
