A train is a very big and heavy object, so the bigger the object is, the slower it will begin to move. With that said, bigger objects are also heavier and will move fast once going. Since the train is a huge and heavy object it will need longer time to slow down and come to a stop.

Three resistors are connected in parallel to the voltage source with resistors R1 = 30 Ω, R2 = 150 Ω and R3 = 90 Ω. A current of
Annette [7]

Answer:

0.6 A

Explanation:

When resistors are connected in parallel,

(i) The voltage across each of the resistor is the same

(ii) The current in the circuit is equal to the sum of the current flowing through the individual resistor.

Firstly, we look for the voltage across the the R₃ resistor.

From Ohm's law,

V₃ = I₃R₃................. Equation 1

Where V₃ = Voltage across R₃, I₃ = current flowing through R₃

Given: I₃ = 200 mA = 0.2 A, R₃ = 90 Ω

Substitute into equation 1

V₃ = 0.2(90) = 18 V.

Note: V₁ = V₃ = 18 V.

Secondly, we calculate the current flowing through R₁

Using,

I₁ = V₁/R₁........................... Equation 2

Given: V₁ = 18 V, R₁ = 30 Ω

Substitute these values into equation 2

I₁ = 18/30

I₁ = 0.6 A

1. A rocket is launched straight up into the air. If its entire flight takes 5 seconds....
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

1)49m/s

2)122.5m

Explanation:

The expression below can be use to calculate the initial velocity from law of motion

V2 - V1= at

Where V2= final velocity

V1= initial velocity( from rest)

a=acceleration

t= time= 5 seconds

But V2=0

V1=gt

Where g= acceleration due to gravity= 9.8m/s^2

V1= 9.8×5

V1=49m/s

Then we can now calculate the maximum height the rocket reaches by using below formula

V^2=2gh

h(max)=v^2/2g

Where h= maximum height

V2= initial velocity

=49^2/(2×9.8)

=2401/19.6

=122.5m

Hence the maximum height it reaches vis 122.5m

_____________________ are structures in cardiac muscle tissue that allow impulses to spread across the heart more rapidly.
Darya [45]

Gap junctions in the intercalated discs allow impulses to be spread across the heart more quickly. This is because gap junctions allow particles/signals to pass through, thus making cells with gap junctions more able to interact.

One more thing—you posted this in the physics section rather than biology.

If a net force accelerates a 4.5-kg tool at 40 m/s2, what acceleration would that same net force give to an 18-kg tool?
EastWind [94]
F=ma
F1 = F2
F1 = 4.5 x 40
F2 = a x 18
4.5 x 40 = a x 18
180/18 = a
a = 10 m/s^2
