Answer: Tropical rainforest

Spider monkeys is species of monkeys that are native to Central and South America and also found in Mexico. These monkeys have long arms and gripping tails that help them to move gracefully from branch to branch and tree to tree in order to obtain their food. These monkeys find food on the treetops. They feed upon nuts, fruits, leaves, eggs of birds and spiders.

Tropical rain forest is the most likely biome suitable for spider monkey as they exhibit large tree species which can provide good food and habitat facilities to these monkeys. Savanna is not suitable because it exhibit nearly desert like region with small trees and shrubs which cannot support the food and habitat needs of these animals. Also, in polar ice desert biome trees growth will be scanty and cannot support growth of spider monkey population.

Name some of the traits mendel studied with his pea plants.
Scorpion4ik [409]
Gregor Mendel was an important scientist, considered to be the founder of the science of genetics. His experiments on the crossbreeding of plants and the passing down of favourable traits, led him to establish the laws of Mendelian inheritance. He was using pea plants for his experiments and he was studying seven different pea traits: pea shape and color, pod shape and color, flower color, plant size and position of flowers.

The right answer is the first phase of the general adaption syndrome.

The concept of stress was introduced by Hans Selye. He describes the mechanism of the adaptation syndrome, that is to say all the modifications that allow an organism to bear the consequences of a natural or operative trauma.

In fact, it is the double-perception of a state of divergence between a demand for adaptation at a given moment and the ability to cope with it. It is an energy expenditure. It can be positive or negative.

The stress syndrome evolves in three successive stages:

*"Alarm reaction": the defense forces are mobilized

*"Resistance stage": adaptation to the stressor

*"Stage of exhaustion": inexorably reached if the stressor is sufficiently powerful and acts a long time.

The concept of population neural coding proposes that a specific object, like a face, is represented across a number of what?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The concept of population neural coding proposes that a specific object, like a face, is represented across a number of neurons.

Explanation:

Neuron coding is processing the information by neurons, in a way that neurons generate electric impulses for coding. In population coding, the neurons give responses that could combine and that is how the entering information is determined.
