The city of Teotihuacan had several valuable natural resources which included obsidian deposits nearby Pachuna which was used in the making of hunting tools such as knifes and spears.

The natural composition of soil in that city along with favorable irrigation conditions and a suitable climate weighed positively on the agricultural status of the city.

Other resources such as cotton, exotic feathers, cacao and shells were some of the things that were imported and exported from this city.
