The answer is 12. If you don’t understand then keep on multiplying 4 until you get a number that 6 will also go into

First you want to reduce the brackets
Next you want to factor out the common number 3
Next you want to factor 20 + x^3 + 11x - 8x^2 by using the polynomial division method/technique
Lastly you just factor x^2 - 9x + 20 to get the answer.

Yes you are correct, the solutions are 1, 4, and 5.

Find two consecutive even integers whose product is 288
Trava [24]
So I’m going to solve this using algebra OK?
So what you do is take the first integer as X.
Then we know that x(the first number) + X+2(the second number) is 288 right?
So we solve that saying x+x+2=288.
So 2X+2=288
2X+2-2=288-2 right?
So 2X=286.
So x is 286/2 right?
So x is 143.
Now the first number is 143 right?
So the second number should be 143+2 so 145.
I know they are not even but these are the solutions.
I don’t think there are any consecutive even numbers that add up to 288

Rachel measures the lengths of a random sample of 100 screws. The mean length was 2.6 inches, with a standard deviation of 1.0 i
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the alternative hypothesis (µ < µ0),

To find the p-value with test statistic -1.25 and assuming a standard level of significance of 0.05, using a p value calculator, the p-value is 0.1057 which is great that 0.05. Thus, the results is not significant.

Using the p value calculation.

1. Check the left tailed z table as the test statistic is negative,

2. Then find the probabilitythat z is greater than your test statistic (look up your test statistic on the z-table- the value under 1.2 and 0.05 which is 0.8944

3. Then, find its corresponding probability, and subtract it from 1 to get your p-value- 1-0.8944 = 0.1056.

Help me on this questions please.
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

The formula for exponential growth is f(x)=a(1+r)^x, where a is the initial amount/number, r is the growth rate, and x is the number of years/month/etc. The problem tells us that the initial area is 4500. Every year, it decreases by 7.25%, which is technically -0.0725. "t" is the time. Therefore, we plug in those values into the formula. Then, we have:

f(x) = 4500(1-0.0725)^t

f(x) = 4500(0.9275)^t.
