Answer:

The correct answer would be:

  • A- evaporation
  • B- condensation
  • C- precipitation
  • D- groundwater

Water cycle starts with the evaporation of surface water of rivers, lakes, oceans et cetera. Transpiration and breathing also help in releasing water vapor into the atmosphere.

As the water vapors move up in the atmosphere, the temperature decreases due to which they begin to condense which results in the formation of clouds.

The tiny droplets of water vapors keep on merging with each other to form larger drops. Under the influence of temperature and gravity, the water precipitated in the form of rain, snow, due et cetera.

The water then run-offs the ground and percolate into the soil to form groundwater.

Kryger [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Muscle contraction is stimulated by the movement of an action potential moving along a nerve fiber to the muscles. This event follow some series of process before being stimulated.

1. The impulse arrives at the synapse and travels through the transverse tubules.

2. The muscle impulse reaches the sarcoplasmic reticulum and calcium is released.

3. Calcium floods the sarcoplasm and binds to troponin molecules leaving active sites.

4. Tropomyosin molecules bind to exposed active sites, linking actin and myosin.

5. Thin filaments are pulled over the thick filaments.

6. The muscle fiber shortens and contracts.
