Identify the type of sampling bias guaranteed to occur in each of the sampling schemes, based on the information provided. Some

sampling schemes may incur multiple types of bias
A political poll is conducted by contacting people on landline phones. The pollsters did not keep track of how many people they contacted who did not respond.

A political poll is administered by contacting people on landline phones. The pollsters contacted 10,000 households, and 2366 individuals agreed to speak with the caller.

A political poll is conducted by allowing users to register on a website and fill out an online survey.

A political poll asks the question, "If you found out that Candidate A was arrested when he was younger, would that change your opinion of how immoral Candidate A is?"

3.i. sampling bias

ii.question order bias

4. i. response bias

ii.sampling bias

Step-by-step explanation:

we have basically four types of bias in a research which are;

1. Sampling bias

2. Response bias

3. Non response bias

4. Question order bias

Which ordered pair is generated from the equation shown below?
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

(3, 11)

Step-by-step explanation:

To check the ordered pair from given option .

lets plug in the value of x from the choices given .

If value of y is same a sin ordered pair then that pair is correct answer else it can be concluded that pair is not generated from equation given.

equation: y = 3x + 2

_____________________________________

A) (3, 11)

If we put value of X=3 in equation y = 3x + 2,

then y should be 11

y = 3x + 2

=> y = 3*3+2 = 9+2 = 11 . (This is as expected for ordered pair)

Hence this pair (3, 11) is generated from given equation.

_____________________________________

A) (3, 9)

If we put value of X=3 in equation y = 3x + 2,

then y should be 9

y = 3x + 2

=> y = 3*3+2 = 9+2 = 11 . (This is not as expected for ordered pair(3,9)

Hence this pair is not generated from given equation.

_____________________________________

A) (5, 15)

If we put value of X=5 in equation y = 3x + 2,

then y should be 15

y = 3x + 2

=> y = 3*5+2 = 15+2 = 17 . (This is not as expected for ordered pair(5,15)

Hence this pair is not generated from given equation.

_____________________________________

A) (2, 4)

If we put value of X=3 in equation y = 3x + 2,

then y should be 9

y = 3x + 2

=> y = 3*2+2 = 6+2 = 8. (This is not as expected for ordered pair(2, 4)

Hence this pair is not generated from given equation.

_________________________________________________

Thus, only A) (3, 11) is generated from the equation y = 3x + 2

A school administrator will assign each student in a group of n students to one of m classrooms. If 3 < m < 13 < n, is
tatiyna

Answer:

Hence to get same number of students in each classroom,the sufficient condition is that assign 13n students to each classroom.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

There are m classrooms and n be the students

3<m<13<n.

To Find:

Whether it is possible to assign each of n students to one of m classrooms with same no.of students.

Solution:

This problem is related to p/q form  has to be integer in order to get same no of students assigned to the classroom.

As similar as ,n/m ratio

So 1st condition is that,

If it is possible to assign the n/m must be integer and n should be multiple of m,

when we assign 3n students to m classrooms ,we cannot say that 3n/m= integer so that  n is greater than 13 i.e n=14 and m=6

hence they are not multiple of each other so they will not make same students in each classrooms.

Otherwise,n=14 and m=7 they will give same number but this condition is not sufficient condition to assign the student.

So 2nd condition is that ,

When we assign 13n students to m classrooms, as 13 is prime number and

3<m<13 which implies the 13n/m to be integer so n and m must be multiple of each other.

Suppose n=20 and m=5 classrooms

then 13*20=260 ,

260/5=52 students in each classroom,

Identify the solution(s) of the system of equations, if any. -4x-2y=16 2y=-4x-16
Elodia [21]
-4x-2y = 16
2y = -4x-16

Get one variable alone on both equations

-4x - 16 = 2y
-4x - 16 = 2y

You'll realize that they're the same equation.
Use substitution

-4x-16 = -4x-16
0 = 0
x = all solutions

Use x = all solutions in an earlier equation to find y

-4x - 16 = 2y
SInce x can be all solutions y is also all solutions
y = all solutions
