Which rope would have the longest wavelength-one with a frequency of 2 hz or one with a frequency of 3 hz?

Physics

The frequency f is related to the wavelength \lambda by the equation
\lambda =  \frac{v}{f}
where v is the speed of the wave in the rope.

We can see from the formula that, if v is kept constant, smaller frequency means larger wavelength. So, the rope with frequency 2 Hz will have the longest wavelength.

Expand (2x + y) (2x - y).
KiRa [710]

Answer: 4x²-y²

Explanation:

FORMULA

a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)

-----------------------------

(a+b)(a-b)=a²-b²

(2x+y)(2x-y)=(2x)²-(y)²

                  =4x²-y²

Hope this helps!! :)

When an electron de-excites from the third quantum level to the second, and then to the ground state, two photons are emitted. T
Leokris [45]

Answer:

ground state

Explanation:

  Lets take

n=3 ,n=2 ,n=1 are the energy level.

Energy level n=1 is the ground energy level.

The energy from 3 to 1 = hν

The energy from 3 to 2 = hν₁

The energy from 2 to 1 = hν₂

We can say that

hν = hν₁ +  hν₂

If the electron were de-excitation from the third level to ground level then the sum of emitted frequency will be equal to the frequency of a single electron.

Therefore the answer is ground state.

A tow truck is pulling a car out of a ditch by means of a steel cable (y = 2.0 x 1011 n/m2) that is 9.55 m long and has a radius
Anna11 [10]
If you know the real modulus of the cable (Y), the length, and the area (based on the radius), you can compute the spring constant, k = AE/L. Then, if you know the force used, you can compute the displacement, using F = kd, or d = F / k = FL/(AE). Our answer should work out to units of length. So,
d = 803 N * 9.06 m / [pi*(0.574 cm)^2 * 2.0 x 10^11 N/m^2]
d = 3.5 x 10^-8 Nm^3 / (cm^2 * N)
d = 3.5 x 10^-8 m^3 / cm^2 * (100 cm / 1 m)^2
d = 3.5 x 10^-4 m

According to the diagram of the electromagnetic spectrum shown, what would best represent the
iren2701 [21]

The  best represent the size of visible light will be C. Protozoa

The electromagnetic spectrum, gives the overall distribution of electromagnetic radiation by the  frequency or wavelength. All EM waves travel at the speed of light in a vacuum, but over a wide range of frequencies, wavelengths, and photon energies.

Visible light wavelengths cover the range of approximately 0.4 to 0.7 μm. electromagnetic spectrum that the human eye can see is the Visible light. Visible light is a form of electromagnetic (EM) radiation, along with radio waves, infrared, ultraviolet, X-rays, and microwaves. the wavelengths that are visible to most human eyes is generally known as Visible light

the best represent the size of visible light is Protozoa, According to the diagram of the electromagnetic spectrum shown,
