Answer/explanation:

Role of gravity in water cycle

Gravity moves air and ocean water. The gravity force less dense air and water to move upward ( cool dry air is denser than warm, humid air and cool, salty water is denser than water downward.

The warm water is moved to the surface by gravity where it is heated up with sunlight and evaporates keeping the water cycle moving.

The gravity also affects the precipitation, when the clouds convey too heavy water droplets, pulling the droplets to fall in form of rain towards the earth.

Lithium forms compounds which are used in dry cells and storage batteries and in high-temperature lubricants. It has two natural
agasfer [191]

The naturally occurring isotopes of Li are Li-6 of mass 6.015121 amu and Li-7 of mass 7.016003 amu. The atomic mass of Li is 6.9409 amu, the percent abundance can be calculated using the following relation.

Atomic mass=m(Li-6 )×%(Li-6 )+m(Li-7 )×%(Li-7 )

Let the percent abundance of Li-6 be X thus, that of Li-7 will be 1-X, putting the values,

6.9409 amu=6.015121 amu\times X+7.016003 amu(1-X)

Or,

6.9409 =6.015121 X+7.016003-7.016003 X

Or,

X=0.075

Thus, 1-X=1-0.075=0.925

Thus, percent abundance of Li-6 is 0.075 or 7.5 % and that of Li-7 is 0.925 or 92.5%.

A student has a solution with a pH of 7. The student adds HF, hydrogen floride, to the solution, hoping to increases the pH of t
Allushta [10]
Low pH = high acidity.
HF has a very low pH, so when added to a solution, it will lower the pH of the solution and therefore make it more acidic. So the answer should be B.

How do I do scientific notation
lina2011 [118]
1. First, move the decimal place until you have a number between 1 and 10. If you keep moving the decimal point to the right in 0.0000073 you will get 7.3.
2. Next, count how many places you moved the decimal point.
