Explanation :

There are two types of spherical mirrors i.e. concave mirror and convex mirror.

The difference between two types of mirrors is that the reflecting surface of concave mirror is curved inwards while the reflecting surface of a convex mirror is curved outwards.

The image formed by a concave mirror is real and inverted. But when the object is in between pole and the focus of the mirror, the image is enlarged and virtual and erect.

The image formed by a convex mirror is virtual and erect.

So, the correct option is (B) " Convex mirrors produce only virtual images, and concave mirrors produce real and virtual images".

The answer is : Convex mirrors produce only virtual images, and concave mirrors produce real and virtual images.
Concave mirrors have a focal point where the light can meet at the center of the rays and form a real image.

Arthur conducts a controlled experiment several times. The results of each test show that his hypothesis is not supported. Which
sladkih [1.3K]

Hello. You did not inform the experiment that Arthur is conducting, which makes it impossible for your question to be answered accurately. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

The hypothesis is an assumption that is made before the experiment is carried out. This hypothesis is formed with the observation of some phenomenon of nature where the researcher believes that two or more elements interact to form a result. In this case, the experiment is carried out to determine whether the assumption, that is, the hypothesis is false or true. In the event that an experiment determines that the hypothesis is false, two things may have occurred: (a) the experiment was set up, or analyzed incorrectly, (b) the elements tested have no relation to the observed phenomenon.

A 200 N trash can is pulled across the sidewalk by a person at constant speed by a force of 75 N. What is the coefficient of fri
Pavel [41]

Answer:

μ = 0.375

Explanation:

F = Applied force on the trash can = 75 N

W = weight of the trash can = 200 N

f = frictional force acting on trash can

Since the trash can moves at constant speed, force equation for the motion of can is given as

F - f = 0

75 - f = 0

f = 75 N

μ = Coefficient of friction

frictional force is given as

f = μ W

75 = μ (200)

μ = 0.375

Why is plate tectonics a widely accepted theory?
MariettaO [177]

Answer: The theory of Plate Tectonics is now widely accepted because there is sufficient proof to support it, and it is an important aspect of geology, oceanography, geophysics and even paleontology.

Explanation: In places where a plate faced resistance to its movement, it would fold upward and create mountains. Hope this helped! :)
