Biologically thinking, I would say viruses.
Viruses are Inert organisms, they are not influenced by temperature on the opposite of other organisms like humans or bacteria (there are some exceptions in bacteria)
Temperature influences proteins, it could change their conformation and their activity, especially for enzymes.
Temperature decreases the energy flow, due to the decrease of thermal agitation of small molecules like ions in cells.
Viruses don't need active enzymes to live, it just needs host cells, which will be easier on cold days because of the decrease of immune system activity
On cold days you can see an emergence of viruses infections like flu or cold.

Define the term osmosis and give an example.
makkiz [27]

Answer: Osmosis is the movement of water or other solvent through a plasma membrane from a region of low solute concentration to a region of high solute concentration, tending to equalise the concentrations of the solutes. Osmosis is passive transport, meaning it does not require energy to be applied.

Examples of osmosis in daily life include plant cells soaking up water, skin soaking up water, and slugs reacting to salt.

Find the kinetic energy of a ball moving at 45 m/s with a mass of 0.18kg
mamaluj [8]

Answer:182.25 joules

Explanation:

Mass=0.18kg

Velocity=45m/s

Kinetic energy=(mass x(velocity)^2)➗2

Kinetic energy=(0.18 x 45^2) ➗ 2

Kinetic energy=(0.18x45x45) ➗ 2

Kinetic energy=364.5 ➗ 2

Kinetic energy=182.25

Kinetic energy=182.25 joules
