Explanation:

Relation between molarity and molar mass is as follows.

             Molarity = \frac{mass}{\text{molar mass}} \times \frac{1000}{V (in ml)}

It is given that mass is 1 mg/ml which is also equal to 10^{-3} g.

Molecular mass = 58 Da = 58 g/mol

Volume = 1 ml

Therefore, calculate molarity as follows.

         Molarity = \frac{mass}{\text{molar mass}} \times \frac{1000}{V (in ml)}

                       = \frac{10^{-3}g}{58 g/mol} \times \frac{1000}{1 ml}

                       = 0.0172 molar

It is known that 1 molar equals 1000 millimolar.

So,               0.0172 molar = 0.0172 molar \times \frac{1000 millimolar}{1 molar}

                                          = 17.2 millimolar

Thus, we can conclude that the concentration of given solution is 17.2 millimolar.

Which conversion factor is needed to solve the following problem?
USPshnik [31]
Molar Volume is required to solve this problem. As we know that "1 mole of any gas at standard temperature and pressure occupies 22.4 L of volume". SO using this concept, we can calculate the volume of ammonia formed by reacting 54.1 L of Hydrogen gas as follow,

How many moles are in 5.0 x 10^25 atoms of iron?
Andreas93 [3]

Hello!

To find the number of moles that are in the given amount, we need to divide the total number of atoms by Avogadro's number, which is 1 mole is equal to 6.02 x 10^23 atoms.

5.0 x 10^25 / 6.02 x 10^23 ≈ 83.0564

Therefore, there are about 83.06 moles of iron (sigfig: 83 moles).
