What happens if a solid changes the state of substance to liquid?

Chemistry

It would had to have melted in order to change the properties from a solid into a liquid. It also depends on the type of solid wheither a chemical or a ice cube. If it was a ice cube if would dilutte the liquid solution and changes the taste ot texture (feel) if it was a chemical the properties could change the liquid into a solid only depending on th type of chemical. EX..Liquid Nitrogen and a piece of raw chiken the outcome after putting the chicken in the nitrogen would be frozen. Because the chemical Nitrogen freezes the particles which makes the chicken frozen.

You are trying to determine how
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

0,218 moles

Explanation:

I will first explain how many liters is 256ml, that is 0,256 l.

because the m stands for milli which is a factor of 1000 -> (256 ml / 1000 = 0,256 l)

To calculate the amount of moles you multiply the volume with the concentration. So 0,256l x 0,855M = 0,218 moles.

How many neutrons does element X have if its atomic number is 37 and its mass number is 80?
Verizon [17]
Answer: 43.

Explanation:

Mass number is the sum of protons and neutrons of an atom.

The number of prortons is the atomic number, so you can write:

Mass number = atomic number + number of neutrons. From which you get;

number of neutrons = mass number - atomic number = 80 - 37 = 43

All the atoms of a given element have the same number of protons. That is why the number of protons idenfies the elements and is called atomic number.

The number of neutrons of a given element may be different for different atoms of the same element.

The atoms of an element that have different number of neutrons are called isotopes. So, different isotopes of the same element have same atomic number but different mass number.

The reaction below is at dynamic equilibrium. Upper N subscript 2 (g) plus 3 upper H subscript 2 (g) double-headed arrow 2 upper
Len [333]

For the reaction below at dynamic equilibrium, it is true that the rate of the forward reaction equals the rate of the reverse reaction.

Let's consider the following reaction at equilibrium.

N₂(g) + 3 H₂(g) = 2 NH₃(g)

What is the chemical equilibrium?

Is a state in which the concentrations of reactants and products are constant and the forward reaction rate and constant reaction rate are equal.

What is the equilibrium constant?

The equilibrium constant (K) is the ratio of the concentrations of the products to the concentrations of the reactants, all raised to their stoichiometric coefficients.

Let's consider which statement is true for the equilibrium system.

 • The concentration of NH₃ is greater than the concentration of N₂. FALSE. There is not enough information to confirm this, we would need to know the value of K.
 • The concentration of NH₃ equals the concentration of N₂. FALSE. There is not enough information to confirm this, we would need to know the value of K.
 • The rate of the forward reaction equals the rate of the reverse reaction. TRUE. This is always true for a reaction at equilibrium.
 • The rate of the forward reaction is greater than the rate of the reverse reaction. FALSE. At equilibrium, both rates are equal.

For the reaction below at dynamic equilibrium, it is true that the rate of the forward reaction equals the rate of the reverse reaction.
