Find the volume of the sphere. Radius is 1
natta225 [31]

Hi there!

\large\boxed{V = 4/3\pi \text{ or } \approx 4.19 \text{ }  units^{3}}

Find the volume of a sphere using the following equation:

V = 4/3πr³

Substitute in the given radius:

V = 4/3π(1)³

V = 4/3π or ≈ 4.19 units³

Find the surface area of a sphere with a volume of 36π in3.
swat32
First use known volume to solve for radius:
V=\frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3}
r=\sqrt[3]{\frac{3V}{4\pi}}
r=\sqrt[3]{\frac{3(36\pi)}{4\pi}}
r=\sqrt[3]{27}
r=3

Then use the radius to get the surface area:
A_{surf}=4 \pi r^{2}
A_{surf}=4 \pi 3^{2}
A_{surf}=4 \pi 9
A_{surf}=36\pi\approx113.09

What is the point slope of an equation with slope of 3/5 that passes through the point (10,-2)
Verdich [7]
The answer would be B. It gives you the slope and a point on the graph so use that to your advantage. All of the answers show the slope and the slope in the right place, so for now it can be any of them. Then we get to the point (10,-2). For point slope form you would switch the signs for both x and y. So the Y would now be +2 and x would be -10. Y goes together with y, and X goes together with x. In this case y+-y= slope(X+-x) Substitute in for them. Y+2=3/5(X-10)
