Julio is incorrect, the answer is 6 . Julio divided 6 by 2,  that is the incorrect way. To find the actual answer you make a number line and count how man 1/2 are in 6 .

Step-by-step explanation:

The sample respones is:

Julio divided 6 whole parts into groups of 2 instead of dividing them into groups of

1/2  which would make the quotient 12, not 3.

Answer:

She was wrong because if you were to find the quotient it would be 2 because if it were to be 3 it'll look like 6 divided by 18= 3. so what she has to do is find what times 6 equals 2 and that'll be 6 divided by 12= 2

Andy carried 1/2 gallon of water on a hike. He drank 2/3 of the water. How much water did he drink?
Contact [7]
So,

All we have to do is multiply the amount of water Andy carried by the fractional amount he drank.

1/2 * 2/3

This is pretty simple.  To halve TWO-thirds, just halve the numerator, since it's such a nice number.

Presto.  Half of two is one.

Therefore,
1/2 * 2/3 = 1/3

Andy drank 1/3 gallons of water on his hike.  That's 5 1/3 cups of water.  I would estimate his hike to be about 3 miles.  Easy peasy.

PLEASE HELP ASAP Arrange the expressions in increasing order of their values.
dybincka [34]
For this case we have the following expressions:
 (10⁰x 10¹ x 1¹⁰)
 (10 x 10¹)
 (10⁰ + 10¹ + 1¹⁰)
 (10⁰ + 10¹x 1¹⁰)
 Rewrite we have:
 (1x 10 x 1) = 10
 (10 x 10) = 100
 (1 + 10 + 1) = 12
 (1 + 10x 1) = 11
 Answer:

In increasing order we have:

(10⁰x 10¹ x 1¹⁰)

(10⁰ + 10¹x 1¹⁰)

(10⁰ + 10¹ + 1¹⁰)

(10 x 10¹)

PLEASE I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

x = 28

m∠ACD = 68°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠BAE ≅∠DAC because they are vertical angles

∠ACD = 180 - 124 = 56°

to find 'x':   56 + 2x + (180 - 4x) = 180

236 - 2x = 180

-2x = -56

x = 28

m∠ACD = 180 - 4(28)  =  180 - 112  =  68°
