Answer:

  I. and II. are correct

Step-by-step explanation:

The line y=0 is a horizontal asymptote in both directions, so ...

  \lim\limits_{x\to -\infty}{f(x)}=\lim\limits_{x\to\infty}{f(x)}=0

The function value f(0) is 0, so the limit is the same from either direction:

  \lim\limits_{x\to 0^-}{f(x)}=\lim\limits_{x\to 0^+}{f(x)}=0

__

The expression for statement III can be simplified:

  \dfrac{f(x)-\dfrac{1}{2}}{x-1}=\dfrac{\dfrac{x}{1+x^2}-\dfrac{1}{2}}{x-1}=\dfrac{2x-(1+x^2)}{2(1+x^2)(x-1)}=\dfrac{-(x-1)^2}{2(x-1)(x^2+1)}\\\\=\dfrac{1-x}{2(x^2+1)}

The limit of this is 0 from either direction, so the limit does exist at x=1.

_____

We consider that ...

both statements I. and II. are correct.

Andrew is creating a rectangular dog run in his back yard. The length of the dog run is 18 feet. The perimeter of the dog run mu
ale4655 [162]

Answer: 3\leq x \leq 18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, the length of the rectangular dog run is 18 feet.

Formula: Perimeter = 2 ( length + width)

Let width be x.

Then, Perimeter = 2 (18 + x ) feet

The perimeter of the dog run must be at least 42 feet and no more than 72 feet.

That is

42\leq 2 (x+18)\leq 72

Divide inequality by 2, we get

21\leq 18+x\leq 36

Subtract 18 from each side, we get

3\leq x \leq 18

Required inequality : 3\leq x \leq 18

masha68 [24]
To annoy everyone and make life hard as heck. There is no true purpose behind it and teachers just like to make everyone's home life 10x more annoying. They also do it because 99% of teacher are crazy cat people with no life. So for them homework keeps them busy
