Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let one number = x

The other  number = (-8) - x

Their product  = 7

x*( -8 - x) = 7

x*(-8) - x*x = 7

-8x - x² = 7

0 = 7 + 8x + x²

x² + 8x + 7 = 0

x² + 7x +x +7 = 0

x(x + 7) + (x+7) = 0

(x + 7)(x + 1) = 0

x + 7 = 0   ;x + 1 = 0

x = -7         ; x = -1

The two integers are: (-7) and (-1)
