Fill in the missing statements and reasons in this proof. Number your reasons 1 through 5 as they would be shown in the chart be

low.
Given: m∠LOM = m∠JKI;
m∠MON = m∠IKH
Prove: m∠LON = m∠HKJ

I have an answer written down but i'm not sure if I am right. I require assistance because proofs are confusing

Using the above conditions ; If m ∠LOM = m ∠JKI,  if m ∠MON = m ∠IKH it is proved below that m ∠LON = m ∠HKJ as are congruent angles.

What are congruent angles about?

An angle is known to be Congruent if its angles do have equal measure."

Note that question, In the said figure of the angles (image attached),

m ∠LOM = m ∠JKI  (congruent angles)              taken as 1

m ∠MON = m ∠IKH  (congruent angles)             taken as 2

The one should sum up both the side angle  of m ∠MON in (1) we obtain;

m ∠LOM + m ∠MON = m ∠JKI + m ∠MON

Then one should replace angle m ∠MON = m ∠IKH from (eqn. 2) on right hand side and then it will be:

m ∠LOM + m ∠MON = m ∠JKI + m ∠IKH      taken as (3)

Then:

m ∠LOM + m ∠MON = m ∠LON  ( M is said to be the interior point of ∠LON)    taken as (4)

Since m ∠JKI + m ∠IKH = m ∠HKJ  ( I is said to be the interior point of ∠HKJ)            taken as number (5)

Using Number (3) , (4) and (5) in the image attached, we obtained:

m ∠LON = m ∠HKJ  (Congruent angles)

Therefore, Using the above conditions ; If m ∠LOM = m ∠JKI,  if m ∠MON = m ∠IKH it is proved below that m ∠LON = m ∠HKJ as are congruent angles.

9.6x10^85/3x10^63 in scientific notation
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

3.27*10^22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression 9.6x10^85/3x10^63, we are to write it on scientific notation as shown:

9.6x10^85/3x10^63

= (9.8/3) * (10^85/10^63)

= (9.8/3)  * 10^{85-63}

= (9.8/3) *10^22

= 3.27 *10^22

Hence the expression in scientific notation is 3.27*10^22

Carl ran around the track 3 more times than Daria and 2 fewer times than Erin. When they were done they added up the number of l
Paul [167]

Answer:

Total laps = 10d

Step-by-step explanation:

Let c = Carl's laps

d = Daria's laps

e = Erin's laps

c = 3d

c = e/2

c + d + e = totals laps

We can insert 3d in place of c in the third equation

3d + d + e = total laps

Also, e/2 equals 3d

e/2 = 3d

Multiply both sides by 2

(e/2 = 3d)2

e = 6d

Insert the new e

3d + d + 6d = 10d = totals laps

Jane has a average score of 73% on three quizzes. What must she score on the next quiz to have an average of 78%?
Ket [755]

Answer:

93

Step-by-step explanation:

The average is calculated as

average = \frac{sum}{count}

On 3 quizzes

\frac{sum}{3} = 73 ( multiply both sides by 3 )

sum = 219

On 4 quizzes, letting x be the score on fourth test

\frac{sum+x}{4} = 78 ( multiply both sides by 4 )

sum + x = 312 , that is

219 + x = 312 ( subtract 219 from both sides )

x = 93

She must score 93 on the next quiz
