To get this answer, a calculator would probably be helpful. But if you don't have the square root function, here's how to do it:
You can multiply a number by itself to get another number.
8 × 8 = 64, right?
So, if 8 × 8 = 64, then the square root of 64 would be.....
√64 = 8
Keep in mind, you will always get a perfect square number when you multiply a number by itself, and then try too get the square root of the answer.
This will work with any number multiplied by itself like how 5 × 5 = 25, and the √ of 25 is 5.
The √ of 49 is 7.
The √ of 36 is 6.
The √ of 9 is 3, and so on.
